The Delhi Women’s football players welfare association was created with the purpose of giving every keen girl/women an opportunity to play football. There is a severe lack of training centres in Delhi, where girls of all ages, get a chance to receive good football coaching. Furthermore, for those new to the sport, starting from the basics is virtually impossible, as most clubs/academies require a player to already know how to play sufficiently well before they can register. The women’s players welfare association has thus created a platform to help all players, of all skill levels and ages to come together, improve as players and enjoy the sport of football.
Thanks to the help of Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi (Member of parliament in the Lok Sabha, BJP) we were granted access to a football ground, in a safe and central area of Delhi.
So, come join us! We are a completely open community and we welcome anyone interested to join us at the Navyug School ground, Sarojini Nagar, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (4pm -5:30pm)
